Brian and I are brand new at the blogging, so please bear with us. We decided to create a site after viewing Ben and Jessica Tappan's (Brian's brother and sister-in-law). Plus, we thought it would be a great way for our family and friends to keep track of us, since we live on the other side of the country from most of you. We hope that you enjoy our site.
To catch everybody up to speed, we moved to Central Oregon last May and have been loving it ever since. Brian obtained a job as a wildland firefighter and I worked as a kayak guide last summer. Brian spent the winter working for his dad's business (RNT Supply) and I have spent the winter working for the local newspaper (The Bulletin). We have made time for plenty of adventures, though. We snowshoed into a couple of fire lookouts, skiied as much as we could, spent Christmas in the back of a pickup truck (on a road trip through Utah and Arizona), rock climbed, camped, road tripped and kayaked. We've continued great friendships out here from years past and we've made new friends throughout the past year.
We live in a great town with easy access to an incredible outdoor mecca. Plus, the town is upbeat, active, artsy and very community oriented. We both love it out here. Come visit us when you get a chance. Our house is always open to friends and family.
